What is the Senior Class Gift?

The senior class gift is an opportunity for your class to leave a legacy on campus – a physical reminder of your time at Geneva. Additionally, this gift enhances the campus for underclassmen and future generations of Geneva students. As you leave Geneva, you will find that philanthropy, giving to worthy causes, is an important part of civic life and life in the church. You have the opportunity now to lead your fellow students by modeling generosity.

Class members give $20.26 in honor of their class year – but Dr. and Mrs. Troup will supply the $0.26! By providing this gift, you also receive a philanthropy cord to wear with your robes at graduation.

Library Lounge Project

This project will provide an updated space for students. The renovation will include removing stacks, adding an area rug or new carpeting, new furniture, and better lighting. The room will also be painted, and posts and woodwork will be updated and finished.

Total Project Cost: $6,500

Your gift will be matched!

The Geneva College Alumni Council, Dr. and Mrs. Calvin Troup, and Geneva College Foundation staff members will match up to a total of $2,500 towards the $6,500 goal. The matching funds will double your gift of $20 to $40. If just half of the senior class gives $20 each, $5,000 in gifts will be received towards the library lounge renovation.
